Temp RN (Registered Nurse) Opportunity
Saint Alphonsus is looking to hire a Temp RN (Registered Nurse) for our Orthopedic Med/Surg 5N Unit in Boise, Idaho. This unit has 24 beds caring for a mixture of orthopedic, medical and surgical patients that range from adult to geriatrics patients that require acute care for various illness and injuries.

PRN Days. At least one 12-hour shifts per pay period. 7 to 7. Rotating Weekends
The unit operates under the Together Care Team Model, which includes Virtual RNs, bedside RNs, and CNAs, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment. This structure not only enhances patient care but also presents significant opportunities for professional growth into other specialties, such as Emergency Room and Critical Care.
The RN will:
- Provide professional nursing care in collaboration with members of the health care team in the ongoing assessment, planning and treatment of patients and families.
- Utilize resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
- In addition to providing hands-on nursing care, work and serve in a broad range of capacities including, but not limited to, delegation, assessment, planning of care and treatment, teaching of the patient and the patient's family.
Minimum requirements include:
- A current RN license is required.
- Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
- At hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS)
