This medical center in Idaho Falls, Idaho is seeking vascular surgery advanced practice clinicians to provide locum tenens coverage across inpatient and operating room settings. The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support coordinated vascular surgery care throughout each assigned coverage period. On-site resources are in place to facilitate quality care delivery across all designated shifts.
About the Facility LocationIdaho Falls, situated along the Snake River, offers a range of outdoor and cultural activities suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may enjoy the 5-mile River Walk, the Idaho Falls Zoo, the Museum of Idaho, and championship golf courses, as well as fishing on the South Fork of the Snake River and the weekly Farmer's Market. The area is also in proximity to Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, and several National Forests, providing access to additional natural attractions throughout the region.
Aboutthe Clinician's Workday
Clinicians will provide vascular surgery coverage across inpatient and operating room settings on a day shift basis, structured as 12-hour shifts on a 7 on/7 off schedule. Clinical responsibilities include OR coverage and inpatient rounding, conducted entirely on-site at a facility in Idaho Falls, Idaho. After-hours call is required, with a schedule that varies from 0 to 4 after-hours calls and approximately 2 per week for urgent cases.
An active Idaho license and active Idaho DEA must both be in hand at the time of consideration, and prescriptive authority is required for this assignment.
