Job Details
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and dedicated Permanent Nurse Manager to join our healthcare team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of high-quality patient care, staff development, and continuous improvement within our organization. As the Nurse Manager, you'll be responsible for the operational management of the nursing unit, including staff scheduling, resource management, and ensuring adherence to Joint Commission Standards.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient safety, care coordination, and employee engagement, with a strong commitment to fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
- Develop, implement, and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
- Coordinate patient care activities to ensure seamless and effective delivery of healthcare services.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission Standards, state and federal regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive, engaging work environment that encourages employee participation and promotes high levels of performance.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous quality improvement within the nursing unit.
- Manage clinical documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead team development initiatives, including training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance measures to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Manage resources effectively to ensure optimal patient care and operational efficiency.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in acute care settings.
- Previous experience in a nursing leadership role is required.
- Proficiency in staff scheduling, care coordination, and resource management.
- Excellent knowledge of Joint Commission Standards and clinical documentation requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate employees.
- Strong commitment to patient safety and quality assurance.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Exceptional communication and team development skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
