- Setting: Acute care hospital; may float between Med/Surg, Telemetry, and ED boarder/hold areas within the region
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Schedule: Weekends as needed; first to float; no self-scheduling
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020-$2,130
- Charting System: EPIC
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
- Current RN license with eligibility to start the assignment
- At least 2 years of telemetry nursing or related specialty experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
- Experience titrating drips is required
- Strong background with Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Nitro preferred
- Comfort working in a float pool environment and adapting quickly to changing assignments
- Experience with ED holds is preferred
- Provide high-quality nursing care for telemetry, medical-surgical, and ED hold patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and independently interpret telemetry strips
- Titrate and manage medications and drips according to patient needs and facility protocols
- Care for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, including postop, ortho, neuro, oncology, chest pain, CHF, and stroke rule-outs
- Float to different units and facilities as needed based on patient volume and staffing needs
- Collaborate with charge nurses, techs, RT, and leadership to support safe, efficient patient care
- Maintain a professional, flexible, and team-oriented approach in a fast-moving acute care environment
- Document accurately in EPIC and uphold all unit and patient safety standards
