Urgent Care APP - Middleton, Idaho

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 800+ clinician multispecialty group practice seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant committed to a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care in an urgent care setting. We are seeking multiple advanced practice providers to join a group of clinicians serving the rapidly expanding Middleton community. Upon opening, the provider will practice in a co-located family medicine and urgent care setting designed to support a growing team of primary care and urgent care clinicians, with urgent care services available seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Under the direction of a supervising physician, advanced practice providers will deliver urgent care services to the patients the clinic serves. The clinician will also ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the medical treatment facility and will request timely consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other healthcare resources as indicated.

The qualified candidate must be enthusiastic about family health issues and demonstrate comprehensive assessment skills, strong clinical judgment, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

The qualified candidate will exude passion about health issues and demonstrate evidence of comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills, and problem-solving abilities. SAMG utilizes EPIC (EHR/EMR) in its clinics. Thus, experience with EHR is desirable.

Requirements:

• Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho;
  Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA
• A strong medical background in Emergency Department or high acuity Urgent Care is preferred

- Saturday, 12-hour shifts. Between 72 - 80 hrs. per pay period.
