Role SummaryThe QA / QC Manager develops, enforces, and continuously improves quality standards across FAB buildings, clean rooms, datacenters, IDF/MDF rooms, and associated utility spaces. The role serves as the primary quality interface with clients and project leadership, ensuring all work meets approved drawings, specifications, and safety/cleanroom standards.
Field Quality Responsibilities (Approx. 70%)- Lead field QA/QC execution for electrical and LV/ELV systems, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and approved procedures.
- Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans for all low voltage and ELV systems within FAB and mission-critical environments.
- Perform daily, milestone-based, and risk-driven inspections, verifying compliance with IFC drawings, MOPs, SOPs, project specifications, client standards, SEMI guidelines, and applicable regulatory codes.
- Plan and execute inspections, hold points, and testing milestones in alignment with construction schedules without disrupting production flow or site safety.
- Enforce quality requirements for:
- Structured cabling systems (copper and fiber optics)
- Datacenter, IDF, and MDF network infrastructure
- Pathways, containment, and cable management systems
- Rack builds, elevations, and layouts
- Labeling, grounding, bonding, and system segregation
- Fire alarm and life safety systems
- Security, BMS, EPMS, and process communication networks
- Testing, certification, and closeout documentation
- Verify proper cable routing, bend radius, labeling, support, containment, airflow impact, and segregation.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert and mentor to technicians, leads, and foremen, reinforcing expectations for industry-leading workmanship.
- Ensure adherence to safety, access control, contamination control, and ESD protocols.
- Review and approve LV/ELV testing and commissioning plans.
- Witness and validate fiber splicing, patching, and connectivity testing, including OTDR, power meter, continuity, and loss testing.
- Confirm ELV systems are integrated and ready for commissioning with IT, OT, BMS, security, and process platforms.
- Track and certify completion of all testing activities, ensuring documentation is complete for handover.
- Ensure compliance with cleanroom contamination control procedures, airflow and pressure requirements, AMC standards, and ESD handling requirements.
- Identify, document, and track non-conformances related to materials, installation, or workmanship; drive corrective actions with construction management and subcontractors.

- Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, redlines, test results, and turnover documentation.
- Maintain and enforce project-specific and program-level QA/QC checklists and inspection criteria.
- Track quality trends, repeat deficiencies, and root causes; develop corrective and preventive action plans.
- Support pre-construction planning by identifying constructability, sequencing, and quality risks.
- Act as the primary quality liaison for client inspections, audits, and program-level reviews.
- Participate in lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
- 8+ years supporting electrical and low voltage (LV/ELV) systems within mission-critical, data center, semiconductor FAB, or high-reliability industrial environments.
- Demonstrated experience owning QA/QC outcomes across multiple projects or large-scale installations.
- Experienced and competent in inspecting construction work within industrial environments, with the ability to read, understand, and enforce construction drawings and specifications.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in structured cabling, fiber systems, pathways, rack infrastructure, and industry-standard testing and certification practices.
- Comprehensive knowledge and enforcement-level understanding of applicable National standards, as well as International, State, and Local codes governing electrical and low voltage systems, including TIA, BICSI, NEC, SEMI, and AHJ requirements.
- Strong ability to interpret and enforce IFC drawings, MOPs, SOPs, commissioning plans, and testing documentation.
