Food Prep Person

The quality, quantity, freshness, tastiness, and presentation of our products significantly impact guests' perceptions of Golden Corral. The Food Prep Person is responsible for preparing (cutting, slicing, peeling, etc.) all fresh fruits and vegetables used in Golden Corral, ensuring the freshness of our Cold Choice Buffet, which reflects our commitment to high quality.

Operational Excellence:

• Prepares prep items according to Golden Corral product specifications and recipes.
• Maintains inventory of prep items per the Prep Production Guide and updates as directed by management.
• Ensures optimal yield of products throughout the product cycle.
• Labels, dates, and rotates all bulk produce and prepped items.
• Stores all food items in approved, covered containers.
• Follows the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.
• Notifies management of discrepancies such as spoilage, invoice errors, waste, or non-compliance with specifications.
• Assists in maintaining a clean and full buffet area.
• Cleans and organizes the prep area, including coolers, equipment, and storage.
• Follows duty roster, cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
• Adheres to just-in-time delivery responsibilities.
• Complies with local health department laws.

• Performs administrative tasks and assists guests during meal periods.
