Store Manager, Retail & Store Manager

DICK'S Sporting Goods seeks a performance-driven Store Manager to lead daily store operations and inspire a high-performing team. You'll oversee merchandising, inventory accuracy, staffing, scheduling, and cash handling while ensuring safety, loss prevention, and policy compliance. Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations to achieve sales, margin, and customer service goals
• Develop, coach, and schedule associates to deliver expert product guidance and a winning athlete experience
• Ensure merchandising standards, inventory accuracy, and product availability across departments
• Analyze sales reports, KPIs, and customer feedback to drive performance and execute action plans
• Maintain loss prevention, safety, and compliance with company policies and retail regulations
• Partner with leadership on community events, promotions, and omni-channel initiatives (BOPIS, ship-from-store)
• Resolve escalated customer issues with urgency and professionalism
• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews of store associates
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and store readiness
• Foster a culture aligned to sports, inclusivity, integrity, and continuous improvement
