Business Development Representative (BDR) – Launch Your Tech Career at RCN Technologies

RCN Technologies is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) ready to hustle, grow, and contribute. What You'll Do:

  • Identify, research, and engage prospective customers via outbound calls, emails, and social selling.
  • Educate prospects on the value of POTS Link and its role in critical infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with sales and solutions teams to schedule discovery calls and demos.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and target industries to speak confidently.
  • Own your performance and strive to exceed targets.
Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Strong work ethic with a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in reaching out to new contacts daily.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Quick learner, adaptable, persistent.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Hub Spot, Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Interest in technology and a willingness to grow rapidly.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0–2 years in sales, business development, customer service, or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in outbound prospecting, tech, telecom, or public sector sales is a plus but not required.
