Job Summary

Responsible for the development and execution of the sales plan for the assigned territory. Uses Masimo resources to position Masimo products and meet sales and customer satisfaction objectives for new and existing Alternate Care customers, including physician offices, ambulatory surgery centers, prehospital, post‑acute markets such as homecare, long‑term care, and WIC.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and convert new customers for Masimo products and solutions in Alternate Care markets to achieve assigned sales quota, while also developing new market opportunities for Masimo’s pulse co‑oximetry solutions.
  • Generate a sales pipeline and develop key targets for the assigned territory to meet or exceed the monthly sales quota.
  • Work with the Region VP, clinical support staff, AVP, Sr. VP of US Alternate Care Sales, and the local area team members to grow the Alternate Care market by acquiring new customers, closing new contracts, and amending existing contracts for all markets through sales of Masimo products and solutions. Achieve established quarterly and yearly goals.
  • Complete assignments and report on all administrative tasks in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide product and solution training to customers as required.
  • Train support while ensuring appropriate attention from contracted distribution representatives to convert their customers to Masimo products.
  • Collaborate with Masimo’s extended sales teams (sales reps, managers, national accounts, etc.) to accelerate adoption and opportunities in Alternate Care markets.
  • Sell Masimo pulse oximetry and pulse co‑oximetry devices and accessories in defined territories.
  • Build positive relationships with Masimo’s clinical support group and hospital account executives to support Alternate Care business through a continuum of care market‑penetration strategy.
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives in the assigned territory through sales of Masimo products and solutions in all channels.
  • Interface with all product managers to stay up-to-date with products and new releases.
  • Perform other duties and projects as requested.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Three or more years of successful and documented experience selling medical‑device solutions to acute care or alternate care markets.
  • Experience calling on alternate care markets, including national home‑care chains, local home‑care companies, respiratory therapists, nurses, physician offices, ambulatory surgery centers, emergency medical services, and administration.
  • Proficiency in leading productive conference‑call discussions and developing internal partnerships.
  • Experience in strategic sales planning and execution.
  • Organized and detail‑oriented with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Very strong written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong PC skills including MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment of teamwork and constant change.
  • Ability to develop new relationships and manage existing customers to generate incremental sales.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with management, executives, internal staff, peers, outside sales reps and customers.
  • Must be able to travel 50–80% of the time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Sales experience with high‑technology healthcare solutions involving complex sales processes requiring significant differentiation to many decision makers and influencers.
  • Successful sales management experience.
Education

Bachelor’s degree, clinical credential, or five or more years of equivalent experience required.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 plus benefits. Actual placement within the range depends on skills, education, and experience. The position also qualifies for variable compensation up to $85,000 at 100% of annual sales objectives.

Physical Requirements

This position primarily works in a field sales environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking with daily computer use. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in facilities. Must travel in a multi‑state territory up to 50–80% of the time, be able to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license. Must lift and carry equipment weighing up to 60 lbs.
