The Role
Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, this hybrid role is responsible for developing new business opportunities and growing revenue within the Indonesian mining and minerals sector. You will build strong relationships with mining companies, contractors, government agencies, industry organisations and key stakeholders while promoting Seequent’s software solutions. Mining industry engagement will be the primary focus, with opportunities to also support market expansion activities across the Civil, Environmental and Energy industries.
Inthis role you will have the opportunity to:
- Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities with mining and minerals companies across Indonesia.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities within the mining and minerals sector.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and value‑based sales engagements with clients.
- Develop account strategies for key mining customers and strategic prospects.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade events, and networking opportunities.
- Maintain accurate opportunity records and forecasts within the CRM system.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Engineering, Geology, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
- Experience working with mining companies or within the mining technology/software sector.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Working proficiency in Bahasa and English languages.
This is a hybrid role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Regular travel within Indonesia to mining sites and customer offices is required, along with occasional international travel across the Asia‑Pacific region.
