Position Summary:The Partner Account Executive is responsible for driving growth, expansion, and production performance across a portfolio of high‑potential distribution partners. This role will focus on developing partner growth strategies, increasing adoption and production, and strengthening long‑term partner relationships.
The Partner Account Executive serves as the primary commercial owner for strategic producing accounts and collaborates closely with Partner Success Managers and internal cross‑functional teams to ensure partners achieve production and engagement goals.
This role is accountable for proactive relationship management, revenue growth, and expanding Coterie’s footprint within partner organizations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic growth plans for assigned partner accounts.
- Drive premium growth, partner engagement, and market expansion across assigned relationships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agency principals, brokers, producers, and partner leadership teams.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Identify opportunities for increased adoption, cross‑sell, and expanded product utilization.
- Collaborate with Partner Success Managers to ensure high‑quality partner support and issue resolution.
- Monitor partner performance metrics including production, submission growth, engagement, and retention.
- Conduct training, education, and enablement sessions for partner teams.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management within Salesforce.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Insurance, and Revenue Operations teams to support partner growth initiatives.
- Identify at‑risk partners and develop action plans to improve engagement and retention.
- Represent Coterie at industry and partner events as needed.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and proactive relationship management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance sales, partner management, or agency distribution.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and partner expansion.
- Experience working with independent agents, brokers, aggregators, or embedded insurance platforms preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Hub Spot and sales engagement tools.
- Experience managing strategic relationships and business planning initiatives.
- Strong sales, relationship management, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify and execute growth opportunities within complex partner organizations.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple strategic relationships.
- Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance distribution and agency operations.
- Strong collaboration and cross‑functional partnership skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
