Client Account Executive

Description

The Client Account Executive plays a critical support role in managing a portfolio of strategic accounts and collaborates closely with the Client Partner to ensure successful execution of client initiatives and drive operational excellence. The role involves day‑to‑day account management, collaborating with internal teams and clients to deliver high‑quality services, maintain seamless project execution, and implement account growth strategies.

They also independently identify and drive opportunities for growth, expansion, and increased revenue with their current clients and prospects, building strong client relationships and developing new ones through prospecting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support
    :
    Act as the operational backbone, preparing materials for executive‑level engagements and ensuring timely follow‑ups.
  • Account Management
    :
    Monitor the health of client accounts, track key performance metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Project Coordination
    :
    Work with internal teams, including Project Management, to deliver client projects, manage timelines, deliverables, and resources.
  • Revenue Growth Support
    :
    Identify opportunities for portfolio expansion, support new business proposals, respond to RFPs, and prepare pitches and presentations.
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting
    :
    Prospect new business opportunities, targeting potential clients outside the current portfolio.
  • Industry Engagement
    :
    Build relationships across the industry and support representation at seminars, events, and other opportunities.
  • Best Practices Development
    :
    Contribute to the refinement of tools, processes, and methodologies that improve client management efficiency.
  • Problem Solving & Issue Resolution
    :
    Proactively address client issues or challenges, working with internal teams for timely solutions.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience supporting or managing client accounts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and internal coordination.
  • Capability to identify opportunities for account expansion, contribute to proposals and business pitches.
  • Experience building positive client relationships and maintaining satisfaction and trust.
  • Ability to work seamlessly with cross‑functional teams and support the Client Partner.
  • Project coordination experience with Project Management teams, managing timelines, deliverables and resources across multiple teams.
  • Analytical skills for addressing client issues and internal challenges.
  • Awareness of industry trends and competitor activities to provide insights for client strategies.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple responsibilities and client priorities.
  • Experience in preparing proposals, pitch materials and presentations for new business.
  • Willingness to travel for client engagements, industry events and relationship building.
  • Interest in consultative selling and relationship‑based client management.
  • Deep understanding of the media investment sector.
  • Strong project management platform skills (e.g., Asana), Salesforce, and MS Office.
  • Experience operating with key stakeholders within a matrix organization.
  • Relationship building, high communication skills, advisory/consulting skills, collaborative across teams and seniority.
