Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager – Lubricants Boise, Idaho | Total Compensation: $165,000–$190,000

George Thomas Executive Search is retained by a leading provider of lubricant products and value-added services to appoint a Business Development Manager – Lubricants. This role will focus on growing market share across an assigned commercial and industrial territory by winning new business and expanding relationships with existing customers.

• Develop and execute a territory sales strategy.
• Prospect and secure new commercial and industrial accounts.
• Increase share of wallet with existing customers.
• Build relationships with maintenance, reliability and operations decision-makers.
• Recommend lubricant products and technical solutions based on customer requirements.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and customer presentations.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and an active sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, logistics and technical service teams.
• Attend customer visits, industry events and product training.

• Proven success selling into commercial and industrial markets.
• A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Lubricant sales experience strongly preferred; comparable industrial sales experience will be considered.
• Strong consultative selling skills and technical aptitude.
• Ability to understand industrial equipment and applications.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• MLT, MLA, MLE or CLS certification would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will receive total compensation of $165,000–$190,000, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, parental leave and life and disability insurance.
