Security Professional - Curbside Patrol in Lihue, HI
, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and its facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while supporting the overall mission of the location.

Part Time - Afternoon

$22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

21+ years of age

Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening

Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and e

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

Have customer service experience preferred.

Hold CPR certification preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activities according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout public areas, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and verify authorized entry where required, while following post orders and directing questions or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Support daily operations at a government transportation location by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with routine inquiries, and documenting security-related events and/or policy concerns.
