Security Guard - Vancouver, B.C.

We are seeking a Security Guard to join our team at a site in Vancouver until July 2027. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of the property while providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Schedule:

Mon - Fri 08:00 - 16:00 | Payrate: $23.00 /hour

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring a positive experience.
• Provide access control and issue passes as required.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property and grounds, on foot.
• Monitor and safeguard people, property, buildings, and equipment.
• Actively monitor CCTV systems to detect and respond to security threats.
• Serve as a first responder in emergencies, providing first aid to employees.
• Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate parties.
• Report incidents to the Client Services Manager and submit detailed investigation reports.

• Valid BC Security License.
• Basic First Aid/OFA 1certification.
• Experience with CCTV and access control systems.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
