Security Officer Access Associate in BOISE,
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

- Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and supporting approved entry and exit activity at the location.
- Monitor doors, gates, lobbies, and other controlled points of access to help deter unauthorized entry and report unusual activity through proper channels.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response protocols.
- Maintain visitor logs, badge records, and other required documentation related to access requests, deliveries, contractors, and/or temporary credentials.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for security-related concerns, unsecured areas, and conditions that may require follow-up.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
