Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay Rate: $26-$30, hourly

Location: Boise,

Position Type: Full-Time

• Work with chemical distribution systems located within an on‑site fabrication shop.
• Receive comprehensive training in plumbing, welding, electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls wiring related to this specialised chemical equipment.
• Following training, FSTs will begin on‑the‑job (OJT) assignments at both the on‑site fabrication shop and the WGNSTAR facility.
• Work with hazardous chemicals and follow all required safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as defined by each site.

• 2 years of equivalent or relevant work experience, an AAS degree, or military‑related technical experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to understand and troubleshoot technical systems.
• Ability to learn and safely handle hazardous chemicals using the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work from a ladder and in tight quarters.

May be required to walk up to 5+ miles per day, be on feet for 8–10 hrs at a time, bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50–75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
