** looking for an experienced Flooring Installation Manager** – someone with all types of flooring experience (installation, repair, training, management) to oversee subcontractors, offer quality control, and training on proper installation methods. ** WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
*** Direct all operations and functions related to flooring installation from start to finish, working with staff and
** 3rd party subcontractors
*** Build and maintain
** business relationships
** with current flooring installation contractors, and vetting additional contractors as needed
* Perform
** in-home inspections
** of flooring installation and resolve any product/service issues
* ** Work with flooring subcontractors
** to ensure installation methods meet or exceed manufacturers and/or industry specs, ensuring RC Willey lives up to our Customer Service expectation
* Using your Installation background, you will assist in educating our staff on issues that arise during flooring installation to provide better service to our customers
* ** Assist flooring customers
** with any issues in a timely and professional manner
* Oversee installation supplies, ensuring fast and efficient service for subcontractors
* Ensure that all company policies and procedures are being followed
* Work with office staff, warehouse, and management to find ways to better serve our contractors, and customers.
* Travel outside of the Treasure Valley area will be required as needed and mileage will be reimbursed for personal vehicle use.
* All other duties as assigned
** WHAT YOU WILL BRING ALONG:
*** Experience in Flooring Installation, including experience managing a team of installers is essential.
** 5+ years of experience is preferred.
*** Strong communication skills both verbal and written
* Must be able to handle difficult customer service issues
* Experience reading blueprints and writing estimates helpful
* Arranging training for contractors in proper installation techniques for all types of flooring (carpet, hard surfaces, etc) is a necessary part of what you will bring to the table
* Must be organized, professional and self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision. This is an exempt, salary role - you will be the leader to set the bar with your standards of excellence
* Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver license and good driving history
