It is our goal to hire the best qualified Apprentice Station Technicians. IPC will hire Apprentices from an internal pool of Pre-Apprentices. Combo – crew generally made up of Structural and Control Technicians.

Electrical Shop Technicians – assembling and testing substation protection, communication, and control systems and supporting equipment, including protective relaying, SCADA, metering, and RTU configurations.

Battery Technicians – installing and testing batteries, load centers, chargers, racks, and other equipment; performing maintenance and testing of batteries.
