About the PositionIMCO General Construction is seeking a skilled Process Mechanical Pipefitter to join our team. This position requires a candidate who is comfortable working in the field, communicates professionally, and can read plans and specifications to install complete and functional mechanical systems.

Compensation and Benefits- Hourly wage range $40‑50 an hour, depending on experience and skill level
- Medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage is available on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment
- 401K match on eligible wages and available for eligible employees on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. IMCO offers 100% contribution matching up to 4% of the employee’s eligible wages.
- Cut, thread, assemble, and install piping systems
- Install piping in hangers, brackets, and supports
- Cut or drill penetrations in walls and floors for pipe routing
- Assist with layout and installation of mechanical systems
- Assemble pipe using threaded, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented joints
- Secure piping systems using appropriate tools and hardware
- Install supports, sleeves, and inserts for piping systems
- Fit and install large‑diameter piping

Location:
various projects in the Treasure Valley area - Overtime may be available
- Evening/weekend work may be necessary to meet milestones
- 5+ years of experience as an industrial mechanical pipefitter (residential or commercial plumbing is not considered qualified experience)
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Strong math skills for field layout and installation
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours/day)
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working at heights and performing overhead work
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
