Job Description:
This position works under the direct supervision of Journeyman or Lead Installers while learning proper HVAC installation techniques, safety standards, and customer-service best practices. The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working in residential environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with residential add-on and replacement HVAC installations
Support removal and replacement of existing HVAC equipment and components
Assist with installing furnaces, air handlers, condensers, ductwork, refrigerant lines, and condensate drains
Load, transport, and organize tools, materials, and equipment
Follow work orders, installation standards, and supervisor direction
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in occupied homes
Comply with all company safety policies and OSHA standards
Learn to identify basic system issues and assist with troubleshooting
Accurately complete assigned job documentation
Communicate professionally with homeowners when directed
Qualifications:
1+ years of HVAC installation experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to use hand and power tools safely (training provided)
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently under supervision and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders
Comfort working in occupied residential environments
OSHA 10 certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
