Job Description:
This entry-level to early-career position works closely with HVAC Journeyman and lead Installers while learning proper installation techniques, safety standards, and trade skills. The ideal candidate is motivated, dependable, and interested in building a long-term career in the HVAC trade.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation of residential HVAC systems in new commercial construction
Support installation of furnaces, air handlers, condensers, ductwork, refrigerant lines, and related components
Load, stage, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites
Follow mechanical plans, work orders, and supervisor instructions
Maintain job site cleanliness and organization
Comply with all safety policies, OSHA standards, and company procedures
Observe and learn proper HVAC installation techniques and best practices
Accurately complete assigned job documentation as directed
Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
Qualifications:
Entry-level HVAC experience or trade school coursework preferred but not required
Interest in pursuing an HVAC apprenticeship or journeyman career path Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to use hand and power tools safely (training provided)
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders
Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
OSHA 10 certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
