A fast-growing data center builder is seeking a hands‑on Site Installation Superintendent to lead on‑site installation of complex prefabricated Off‑Site Modularized (OSM) systems and structural steel. This is a field leadership role responsible for driving crews, trade partners, schedules, logistics, quality, and safety — all in the same direction. Industrial construction background is required; commercial and residential experience does not apply.
Key Responsibilities- Lead day‑to‑day coordination between off‑site fabrication and on‑site installation
- Oversee installation of prefabricated OSM assemblies and integrated systems
- Coordinate structural steel, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), logistics, and trade partners
- Develop and manage installation schedules, including two‑week look‑aheads
- Track progress, identify delays, and execute recovery plans
- Lead coordination meetings and resolve scope, sequencing, and field conflicts
- Hold subcontractors accountable for schedule, quality, and safety
- Serve as primary jobsite contact for all installation‑related issues
- Verify installed work meets codes, quality standards, and design intent
- Support inspections, testing, commissioning, and project closeout
- Champion a strong jobsite safety culture
- 5+ years of construction supervision experience (industrial construction required)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, prefabrication, and field installation
- Structural steel and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) scope experience
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Proven experience managing trade partners and diverse field teams
- Strong communication, organization, and conflict‑resolution skills
- OSHA 30 preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Degree not required — candidates who came up through the trades are welcome
