Hourly Pay: $19.50 to $21.00 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Arrive at job sites on time as scheduled to participate in pre-planning and safety discussions before work begins.
  • Dig trenches, clean, move materials, and handle tools
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by a Journeyman or Site Super‑intendent.
  • Comply with UMC, Inc. safety procedures and policies. Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Ensure all work is performed using proper installation procedures and safety practices.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Former trade experience is preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, be able to pass a background check, physical and drug screening
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; sit; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; climb or balance; stand; walk; lift or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds; work overhead and in cramped quarters. Good vision required.
