Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility mechanical systems, including troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying equipment to ensure reliable operation.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures, including PPE requirements, Lockout/Tagout, JHA/JSA's, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Monitor equipment performance, analyze issues, and respond to alarms to identify and resolve mechanical and system‑related problems promptly.
- Collaborate with technicians, leaders, and stakeholders to communicate priorities, provide status updates, support improvement initiatives, and ensure smooth operations.
- Support equipment installations, modifications, and facility projects while following established change management and maintenance processes.
- Complete preventive maintenance activities, work orders, and documentation accurately and on time while driving continuous improvement, cost savings, and equipment reliability.
- 3–5 years of experience in an HVAC, Electrical, or Mechanical field.
- Ability to follow procedures and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills in fast‑paced environments.
- Effective written and verbal communication with a collaborative, team‑oriented approach.
- Critical thinker with strong problem‑solving skills, basic math abilities, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Relevant degree, appropriate certification, or licenses.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
May be required to walk up to 5 miles per day, be on feet for 8‑10 hrs at a time, bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50‑75 pounds. The physical demands described above represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
