We’re hiring a Commercial Roofing Field Service Technician to support commercial and residential repairs, service work, and job site maintenance. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role focused on identifying issues, completing repairs, and ensuring projects meet company standards.
Pay Range: $30–$37 hourly DOE
Job Type: Full-Time, not a remote position
Minimum Qualifications- Must be physically capable of climbing ladders and working on commercial and residential roofing systems
- 3+ years of commercial roofing experience, specifically with single-ply systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC)
- 3+ years of residential roofing and repair experience
- Strong understanding of general construction practices (flashing, penetrations, drainage, etc.)
- Clean driving record and drug test
- Ability to work full-time hours
- Experienced with commercial and residential roofing systems and hands‑on field work
- Detail‑oriented with a high standard for quality and execution
- Organized and able to manage multiple jobs and priorities
- Strong communicator with crews, leadership, and customers
- Self‑sufficient and reliable in a fast‑paced environment
- Comfortable using mobile apps and field documentation tools
- Identify and diagnose leaks, system failures, and installation issues
- Complete repairs and service work on commercial roofing systems
- Act as a field quality control point, ensuring crews meet Bartlett Roofing standards
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA and company safety guidelines
- Document site conditions, repairs, and issues with photos and detailed notes
- Travel to warranty and service calls to assess issues and support resolution
- Coordinate with Production and leadership to address job site concerns in real time
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean and working condition
- Communicate consistently with team members and leadership on job status and updates
- Experience with commercial service work and leak detection
- Familiarity with Roof Link or similar field/CRM systems
- Broad knowledge of multiple commercial roofing systems and repair methods
