McMillen, Inc. is seeking immediate placement of experienced Foremen, Carpenters, and Laborers for a project in Joseph, OR. This project is expected to start on July 20, 2026, and will continue through the end of 2027. The company expects additional long‑term work opportunities in the Western Region.

All Construction Division offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screen. In accordance with client requirements, a security clearance is required and is determined based on background check results.

Schedule Requirements

These positions are expected to work a schedule of six 10‑hour shifts per week (6/10 schedule). Based on project demands and operational needs, employees may also be assigned to a swing shift schedule.

Foreman Responsibilities
  • Oversee and facilitate all aspects of on‑site construction activities or projects.
  • Lead a crew of 1 to 20 persons and have first‑hand working knowledge of the elements required for execution of the various activities or projects.
  • Involve with the Superintendent during pre‑construction activities and continue throughout project completion, contract closeout, and warranty.
Carpenter Responsibilities
  • Fabricate, set, and strip concrete forming systems.
  • Place, pour, repair, and finish concrete for heavy civil projects.
Laborer Responsibilities
  • Perform demolition, hydro blasting, dewatering, and pump management activities.
  • Assist other skilled crafts on the project and perform additional duties as required.
  • Experience working with concrete batch plants is a plus.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay Range

$36.90 – $50.74 (DOE) base wage, Prevailing Wage + Zone Pay. Per diem if temporarily assigned 70+ miles from residence.
