Welder

Knife River Idaho is looking for a motivated and experienced Welder/Fabricator for our Idaho division.

This position requires you to work independently and as a team player. Travel is required, and working in extreme weather conditions is expected.

• 2+ years of fabrication and millwright skills.
• Certification in vertical, horizontal, and overhead welding. Confined-space training and forklift certification is a plus.

• Walking, bending, squatting, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.
• Use of hands for grasping and fine manipulation.
• Ability to communicate effectively via speech, vision, and hearing.
• Head movement/rotation (up, down, side to side).
• Wear company-issued personal protective equipment.
• Exposure to dust, fumes, gases, outdoor conditions, cold or hot temperatures.
