Service Technician

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The role includes routine maintenance, equipment repair, welding, customer communication, and occasional property maintenance tasks.

• Diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
• Repair or replace defective parts including compressors, pumps, and motors.
• Weld components as necessary for system repairs or installations.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
• Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems.
• Operate company vehicles for transportation to job sites as needed.

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
• Knowledge of refrigerant systems, chiller and boiler operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with appliance repair and equipment repair techniques.
• Ability to plumb as necessary for system installations or repairs is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
• Certification in HVAC technology or relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience with Chiller and/or Aaon systems.
• Experience with Laars and Aerco systems.
• Proficiency with HVAC/R Systems.
