Position SummaryResponsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes.
Responsibilities- Promote and comply with all company and safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper functioning of all electrical units in the facility.
- Schedule routine checks to spot malfunctions.
- Adhere to all safety norms and regulations.
- Appropriately use and handle electrical testing and repair equipment.
- Complete all tasks assigned by the supervising manager.
- Maintain records of electrical inventories and place orders for spare parts.
- Log electrical repair and maintenance work.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- 4 years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- State Journeyman Electrical License (Required).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project‑specific regulations.
- Active participation in daily toolbox meetings with crews and subcontractors.
- Set a personal example of safe behavior.
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using weight and volume units.
- Apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions.
- Maintain precise accuracy and follow established procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work up to a 12‑hour shift performing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.
- Maintain physical strength and stamina; use arms, hands, and legs to push, pull, lift, and carry objects up to 50 lbs; move in confined, cluttered, and uneven areas.
- Lift frequently and maintain stamina for repeated tasks.
- Operate under uncontrolled environmental conditions (weather changes, exposure to dust, fumes, smoke, odors, and loud noises).
- Wear personal protective equipment (safety‑toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.).
- Work at heights with full compliance to safety and fall‑protection requirements.
- Utilize visual and auditory coordination for detailed work.
Full‑time, typically 50 hours per week; schedule subject to project requirements.
TravelUp to 90% travel required; position requires presence at the project site with intermittent travel to residence of record.
