Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Window & Door Installer with carpentry or construction experience to join our team. This role involves installing residential windows and doors, performing finish carpentry, and delivering high‑quality workmanship while maintaining a safe and professional job site.
Responsibilities- Install residential windows and doors, including replacement and new construction applications
- Remove and replace existing windows and doors
- Perform finish carpentry, trim work, framing adjustments, and basic drywall repairs
- Measure, cut, and install interior and exterior trim
- Ensure installations are level, plumb, weatherproof, and completed to quality standards
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other installation equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and other contractors
- Complete required paperwork and maintain company tools, materials, and vehicles
- Previous experience in window installation, door installation, carpentry, construction, remodeling, or a related trade
- Ability to read and follow work orders and installation instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry 75+ pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work areas up to 30 feet
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to use power tools (e.g., skill/circular saw, miter saw, framing nailers/nail guns)
- Monday through Friday schedule, no weekends
- Typical hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional extensions up to 8:00 PM based on project needs and travel requirements
- Travel throughout Idaho and portions of Oregon
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
- $22-32/hr DOE
