Role Description

This full-time, on-site Tower Technician role is based in Boise,  Tower Technician will perform tower construction, installation, and modification tasks, including climbing towers, installing and routing cables, mounting antennas and equipment, and assisting with structural upgrades. Daily responsibilities include using hand tools and power tools, performing routine maintenance and repairs on tower and ground equipment, and supporting troubleshooting of wireless network components.

The role also involves following safety protocols, documenting work performed, communicating clearly with crew leaders and project managers, and traveling to job sites within the region as required.

Qualifications
  • Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools for construction, installation, and repair tasks.
  • Skills in troubleshooting and maintenance & repair of tower structures and related equipment.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with crew members, supervisors, and clients.
  • Basic understanding of wireless networking concepts and equipment installation.
  • Comfort working at heights, including climbing towers and using fall protection systems.
  • Commitment to safety practices and adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
  • Prior experience in tower work, construction, or telecommunications is preferred but not required.
