Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

Plains All American Pipeline is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to support safe, reliable operation of pipeline and terminal assets. In this role, you will install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems including PLCs, control systems, motors, and field instruments. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, support commissioning and upgrades, and strictly follow safety and environmental procedures.

Working closely with operations and engineering, you'll help ensure uptime and compliance while growing your technical skills in a performance-driven, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems for pipeline and terminal operations
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, control systems, motors, sensors, and related equipment
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Support project start-ups, commissioning, and upgrades of electrical and control systems
• Document work performed, maintain records, and follow safety and environmental procedures
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime
