Food Service Technician

Cool Sys is seeking a Food Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial and industrial food service and refrigeration systems on customer sites. In this field role, you'll service HVAC-R and mechanical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, and ensure safe, efficient operation. You'll interact directly with retail, commercial, and industrial customers, follow strict safety standards, complete accurate service documentation, and support energy-efficient, reliable refrigeration and food service solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair commercial and industrial food service and refrigeration equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC-R and mechanical systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and service manuals
• Follow all safety, OSHA, and company procedures on customer sites
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service reports
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding findings and solutions
• Collaborate with team members and dispatch to prioritize service calls
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working order
• Support energy-efficient and reliable operation of customer systems
