Description Excellent opportunity in Boise, Idaho to work for a fast paced, growing underground utility company. With over 40 years of combined experience in underground sewer, water, storm drain and irrigation - we are looking for a self-motivated, hardworking, resourceful Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Team!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operation of Excavator in a safe and productive manner
- Ability to inspect equipment daily and the start of any job
- Follow all safety regulations
- Maintain constant communication with all personnel
- General site cleanup and maintenance
- Digging, spreading, shoveling dirt and gravel
- Lift, carry and support construction material
Position Requirements
Minimum requirements:
- Excavation Equipment Operator Experience of 3 years
- Proven History to operate Heavy Equipment in a safe manner
- Ability to understand soils
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to exert heavy physical effort, handling average weight objects up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to perform manual labor
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
- Ability to safely and effectively perform the essential job functions
- Must have the ability to professionally communicate to employees, customers and team members
- Must be able to perform all duties in a safe, productive and effective manner
