Journeyman Installer - Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour DOE
Western Heating & Air Conditioning has currently opening for Residential AOR Journeyman Installers! We want someone with integrity and drive. - Perform residential add-on and replacement installations on existing systems
- Remove, replace, or upgrade equipment, wiring, and components as required
- Evaluate existing systems and determine appropriate modifications or replacements
- Follow work orders, installation standards, and manufacturer specifications
- Ensure all work complies with applicable safety standards and company policies
- Troubleshoot issues and verify proper system operation upon completion
- Maintain accurate job documentation and close-out reports
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe job site
- Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners regarding work performed
- Provide basic homeowner education on updated or replaced systems
- Prior residential installation, service, or replacement experience preferred
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs per day
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders
- OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
