Pay:
Starting at 30per hour - DOE (Rate will depend on experience and qualifications).

• Install complete gas fireplace units. Mount and secure fireplace units, stoves, or inserts into walls or existing spaces based on maker guidelines.
• Measure and inspect sites to prepare for safe equipment placement.
• Connect gas lines safely for gas-burning models and check for leaks
• Install proper venting, flues, and chimneys to guarantee safe exhaust clearance
• Test the unit to verify proper ignition, airflow, and heat output.
• Troubleshoot and repair operational issues if a system fails initial testing.
• Read and interpret mechanical plans, blueprints, and installation drawings
• Ensure all installations meet local and national mechanical codes and manufacturer specifications
• Perform system start-ups, testing, and verification of proper operation
• Perform HVAC installation when needed: including setting up equipment, run ductwork, refrigerant lines, gas piping, furnaces, air handlers, condensers, condensate drains and other related components
• Coordinate work with builders, superintendents, and other trades on job sites
• Maintain accurate job documentation and installation records
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards

• HVAC fireplace installation experience in new residential construction
• Strong understanding of residential Fireplaces and HVAC systems and installation practices
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans and construction documents
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools relevant to Fireplace/HVAC installation
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to work independently or as part of a crew in a construction environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders
• EPA Section 608 Certification (required)
• OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
