A Role That Supports Communication Across School and HomeAt Care Options for Kids, our School-Based Speech‑Language Pathologists play a critical role in helping students access learning through effective communication. This hybrid role is designed for SLPs who identify first as school clinicians and are interested in extending their impact through coordinated home health services.
In this position, you’ll provide speech and language services primarily within school settings, supporting IEP development and implementation in collaboration with educators and related service providers. This role also provides home‑based services to reinforce skills, support family carryover, and promote functional success beyond the classroom.

- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited institution
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) in good standing
- Active state license to practice Speech‑Language Pathology in State of Practice
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of student and patient information
- Knowledge of evidence‑based speech and language intervention practices
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto liability insurance
