Resident Services Program Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Services Program Coordinator to join our team, supporting resident programs across The Housing Company (THC) Properties. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with internal staff and external service providers to promote resident well-being, community engagement, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of residents. The ideal candidate will be empathetic and committed to fostering a positive community environment.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Coordinate and promote educational and social service resources for residents, including trainings, workshops, and community events
  • Develop and maintain regional resource guides for services available
  • Conduct quarterly evaluations to assess community needs, with a focus on upstream instability prevention
  • Research and provide relevant presentations, seminars, and classes to address the identified needs and interests of our residents
  • Create and distribute quarterly resident newsletters to keep residents informed of services and programming
  • Support internal team in identifying local services and service providers for residents
  • Source and coordinate Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) providers and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Track vacancies, resident referrals, and additional information to maintain accurate records and meet reporting requirements
  • Other job duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in a social science, public administration, human services, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Grant writing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Section 8 and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations
