Responsibilities
Intermountain Hospital, located in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a dynamic Admissions Assistant/Call Center Specialist to assess potential patients for admission. The role involves receiving admissions calls and unplanned walk‑ins with compassion, empathy, urgency, and providing appropriate assessment or referral. Thorough and accurate documentation of calls and related paperwork is a critical component of the job. Shift: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, Wednesday through Saturday, rotating.
Qualifications- High school graduate required; bachelor's degree in social services or related field preferred.
- Prior intake, assessment, admission, and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population preferred.
