When people need help, we’ll be there. Our services cover food pantry, reentry, thrift stores, home visits and a helpline to support the basic human need to stay afloat and avoid homelessness, in addition to Thanksgiving boxes, Christmas Toy Drive, and feeding Americas Heroes.

St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Idaho — Reentry Services Hub

The Reentry Services Hub is St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Idaho's centralized office supporting individuals reentering the community after incarceration, encompassing First Day Out, Career Development, and Addiction Recovery services. The District 3 office serves as a walk-in point of access for participants and community members seeking reentry support and resources.

The Reentry Specialist staffs the District 3 office and ensures reliable coverage for walk-in participants, serving as the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance. This position combines direct participant support with accurate documentation and data entry to maintain program records.

The Reentry Specialist maintains a consistent presence at the District 3 office to greet and assist walk-in participants, answering questions and connecting them with appropriate program staff or resources. The role includes documenting participant interactions through service notes and entering accurate data into program tracking systems, consistent with Recovery Coach documentation standards. The Reentry Specialist also helps maintain a welcoming and organized office environment, supports coordination with other Reentry Services Hub staff, and complies with all program policies and confidentiality standards.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years of confirmed personal sobriety. Basic computer skills are required, including the ability to enter accurate service notes and program data into tracking systems. All candidates must be able to pass a background check that meets Idaho Department of Health and Welfare standards under IDAPA 16.05.06.
