A bit about us:

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and passionate Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic and growing team. You will be responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
• Integration of data storage solutions including MariaDB
• Develop and maintain functional and stable web applications to meet our company’s needs
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Perform UI tests to optimize performance
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic

Qualifications:

• Proven software development experience in PHP
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel, Yii, etc.
• Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
• Understanding of MVC design patterns
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance
• Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Experience with PHP 5.6 and PHP 8
• Experience with Maria
  
  DB, NGINX, Elastic Search, Docker, Kubernetes, and Legacy Migration
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of work experience as a PHP Developer
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
