Principal Solution Architect

In this role, you will need to be technically sound and capable of crafting innovative end‑to‑end designs to solve complex business problems. We are looking for team members who love learning and introducing new technologies to build solutions that drive value for the business. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working as a data engineer supporting data science or advanced analytics solutions, preferably in both on prem and cloud‑based infrastructures.

You will have the ability to dive deep into various hands‑on solutions while developing new skills, so you can make strong contributions to architecture transformation decisions.

• Design and architect scalable production‑ready advanced analytic, and data science solutions.
• Implement solutions that eliminate or minimize technical debt through a well‑designed architecture, data model, and lifecycle.
• Bring together and share best‑practice knowledge among the data science and solution architect community.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑functional groups, with diverse interests and requirements, to a common objective.
• Coach, mentor, and help develop data engineers and data scientist.

• Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science or Management Information Systems with 10+ years’ experience in designing and developing database architecture, Data Warehouse Business Intelligence & Data Science solutions.
• 5+ years of experience in architecting, data modeling, and developing large‑scale enterprise data solutions with a focus on manufacturing, and/or engineering applications preferably using GCP cloud (Big Query) or Snowflake.
• 3+ years of cloud experience preferably with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in designing and developing applications and data solutions in combination with Big Query or Snowflake.
• Expertise in Python programming languages and strong experience in YAML.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with management and developers with a track record of significant direct interaction and peer leadership with partners across the company.

• Experience in designing, developing and operationalizing AI/ML models will be an added advantage.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines with and scheduling tools is desirable.
• Experience with AI development/architecture including Google ADK, Snowflake Cortex or creating MCP tools is a plus.
