Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer
Overview
Micron Technology is a world leader in memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence. As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will work with a team of full‑stack software engineers responsible for developing software to run and optimize the Manufacturing line, with a specific focus on enabling the Photolithography area within the Manufacturing environment. The team uses a variety of technologies and collaborates with team members globally.
You will configure, develop, maintain and support Micron and third‑party applications, create and analyze software specifications, and participate in the full software development life cycle. You must demonstrate the ability to switch between development technologies and merge them to provide effective solutions, create quality software, and participate in quality improvement efforts. You will deliver solutions that create business value while minimizing negative impact from defects, downtime, or performance degradation.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with multiple IT, information security, and technology teams to drive impactful change.
- Design, engineer, and implement application security solutions at scale for a worldwide enterprise.
- Analyze and fix systems issues.
- Assess the potential impact of software development changes and use data to understand upstream and downstream dependencies.
- Collaborate with multi‑functional teams for end‑to‑end testing and performance analysis of real‑time data applications; solve issues, identify opportunities, and drive initiatives to completion.
- Apply Generative AI tools to increase development efficiency, support building and implementation tasks, and reduce time‑to‑delivery with appropriate human review and alignment to engineering standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Developing RESTful web services using Node.js, Apache, or C#, and object‑oriented programming with .NET, and C++.
- Experience with SQL, No
SQL databases, and Angular/React, Type Script, JavaScript, and other web technologies. - Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift, or other container technologies.
- Git Hub Copilot or other code generation utilities.

- Motivated to learn new skills independently.
- Creative problem solver with good problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
