About our Team
Team of full‑stack software engineers who develop software that helps run and optimize the manufacturing line. The team focuses on enabling the Photolithography area within the Manufacturing environment and applies a wide variety of technologies while interacting with team members from around the globe.
Position OverviewAs a Senior Software Development Engineer you will configure, develop, maintain and support Micron and third‑party applications. You will create and analyze software specifications, research, design, document, modify and support software throughout the development life cycle, switching between development technologies to provide the best solution.
Responsibilities- Work closely with multiple teams in IT, Information Security and Technology to drive impactful change.
- Design, engineer and implement application security solutions in a scalable way for a worldwide enterprise.
- Analyze and fix system issues.
- Ensure that the potential impact of software development changes is well understood, using data to support understanding of upstream and downstream dependencies.
- Collaborate closely with multi‑functional teams for end‑to‑end testing and performance analysis of real‑time data applications, solve issues, proactively identify new opportunities, and drive initiatives through to completion.
- Apply Generative AI tools to increase development efficiency, support building and implementation tasks, and reduce time‑to‑delivery, with appropriate human review and alignment to engineering standards.
- 2–3 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience developing RESTful web services using NodeJS, Apache or C#, and Object‑Oriented Programming with .NET and C++.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift or other container technologies.
- Experience using Git Hub Copilot or other code generation utilities (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor).
- Motivation to learn new skills independently.
- Creative problem‑solving with strong abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
