Position: Software Quality Engineer I - III (DOE)

Software Quality Engineer I – III (DOE) Hybrid role (3 days/week in office) at our Burlington, Renton, Spokane, Vancouver, Portland, Medford, Salt Lake City, Boise, Lewiston, or Fargo offices. Candidates must reside within commutable distance of that location or be willing to relocate. to create a person-focused and economically sustainable health care system.

As a member of the Software Quality Engineering team, our Software Quality Engineers are responsible for assuring the delivery of high quality products and software services. The Software Quality Engineer I works with teammates to prevent and detect defects throughout the product lifecycle, evaluate the appropriateness of software solutions for customers and the enterprise, and enable delivery team productivity.

The Software Quality Engineer II applies a wide variety for testing and quality assurance techniques to complex software projects often requiring coordination with multiple software delivery teams. The Software Quality Engineer III is a senior level engineer that applies extensive technical knowledge and experience to develop and deliver solutions for software projects.

Qualifications What You Bring to Cambia:
  • Software Quality Engineer I would have a BA/BS degree in computer science or related field and relevant experience in one programming language, such as Java, Ruby, Python or C# or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Software Quality Engineer II would have a BA/BS degree in computer science or related field and 3 years of experience performing software quality and testing throughout product development, deployment and maintenance and 1 year of experience writing, running and automating tests; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Software Quality Engineer III would have a BA/BS degree in computer science or related field and 6 years of experience performing software quality and testing throughout product development, deployment and maintenance, including 3 years of experience writing, running and automating tests; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills And Attributes
  • Demonstrated proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Ruby, Python or C#.
  • Ability to react quickly and remain productive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to learn, apply and follow company best practices.
  • Ability to work independently, raise issues and take corrective action.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical project team members.
