Must be available to work on additional food service work days not reflected in the FS work schedule calendar to provide meals such as breakfast at secondary sites or meals for elementary (if a designated production site). Additional days worked will be paid on a time card.

New-to-Distirct Classified employees may be eligible to receive credit for up to two years’ worth of credit for movement (steps) on the Classified Salary Schedule based on relevant prior work expe r ience .Please complete the top portion of this form and provide it to your previous employer for completion. To qualify, newly hired employees must provide this form, completed by your former employer(s), to Human Resources no later than the date of their fingerprinting and appointment.

Index: 01/C/03 ($16.65/hour) to 01/C/05 ($18.00/hour) depending on verified experience forNEW to District Employees

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduation from High School or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience with institutional food service preferred.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations for recipes, production sheets, and cashiering.
• Willingness to learn and follow Federal, State, Local, District and Food service policies and regulations.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to be self-directed.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with school personnel, students and the public.
• Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 pounds.
