Driver II (Non‑CDL) Position Summary
Adecco is immediately hiring a Driver for an electrical products distribution company in Boise. The Driver II is responsible for safely operating a non‑CDL vehicle between 10,000 and 26,000 GVW to complete daily deliveries, provide excellent customer service, and support warehouse operations. This role includes material handling, order accuracy, equipment care, and maintaining all required logs and documentation.
Key Responsibilities Delivery Operations- Load truck for morning deliveries and prepare daily delivery schedule.
- Hookup tow hitch and tow flatbed trailer with large truck ie Ford F650.
- Deliver materials to customer‑designated locations and obtain signatures for proof of delivery.
- Assist with unloading materials when needed.
- Complete and submit daily post‑trip inspection reports, hours‑of‑service logs, and fuel receipts.
- Work with Branch Operations Manager to ensure proper vehicle maintenance.
- Perform warehouse associate duties when not driving.
- Receive and verify incoming materials; enter receipts into computer system when required.
- Stock materials in correct storage locations; relocate or consolidate inventory as needed.
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare materials for shipment; create bills of lading and shipping paperwork.
- Maintain accuracy and organization of returns, nonconforming product, and RMA documentation.
- Support counter sales by assisting walk‑in customers, entering orders, and handling inquiries.
- Keep warehouse, work areas, and vehicles clean and orderly.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment and delivery vehicles.
- Follow all safety practices, including lifting procedures (up to 50 lbs.) and ESD/warehouse guidelines.
- Record and communicate customer complaints; coordinate corrective actions with appropriate managers.
- Provide professional, courteous service during deliveries and customer interactions.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Minimum 3 years of non‑CDL driving experience.
- Ability to obtain DOT Certification (paid by company)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift training/qualification (or ability to learn).
7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime.
Pay$21-22/hr.
