Responsibilities
- Safely load, deliver, and unload materials for district kitchens and individual school needs.
- Deliver specialized music or office equipment to schools.
- Move, lift, and deliver curriculum materials including textbooks.
- Ensure accurate and expedient delivery of materials to schools and other facilities.
- Prefer one year of experience delivering materials and supplies.
- Ability to operate a district delivery truck.
- Valid Idaho driver’s license with a driving record that meets district insurance criteria.
- Ability to receive, load, unload, secure, and deliver materials, including installing protective devices to prevent damage.
- Ability to maintain and perform minor repairs on tools, vehicles, and equipment in accordance with district policies.
- Ability to clean and maintain vehicles, supplies, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Ability to follow established safety practices for daily warehousing and delivery operations.
- Ability to lift, move, and maneuver hand and power tools (hand trucks and forklifts) and equipment safely.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and observe district policies and procedures.
- Ability to regularly lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds or more.
- Start date:
TBD. - Salaried from $17.29 to $18.70 per hour, depending on verified experience (positions 01/D/02 to 01/D/04).
- Transfers or former district employees placed at "D" letter grade of the Classified Salary Schedule, with initial step placement varying by factors.
- Employment is "at will".
For eligible positions, the district offers a benefit package valued at more than $10,000 annually, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and public employee retirement system (PERSI). Benefits are provided to classified employees working at least half‑time (20 hours per week) or more, and to certified employees with a 0.5 FTE or greater contract.
